I commend the citizens of Cachar for their active participation and appeal to all to uphold the values of harmony, discipline, and civic responsibility.”
Simultaneously, a Foot Rally also set out from the DC Office along a designated route. The rallies saw spirited participation from members of Self-Help Groups and stakeholders of the Assam State Livelihoods Mission (ASLM), whose colourful attire and waving flags added festive vibrance to the occasion. Coordinated by various government departments, participants carried banners and raised slogans of freedom, solidarity, and progress—reinforcing the campaign’s message that the national flag belongs in every household and its spirit must live in every heart.
