3 Differently Abled Cricketers from Cachar in Assam’s team for World T10 Cricket League in Noida
The Differently Abled Cricket Association of Assam (DACAA), affiliated to the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India (PCCAI), has announced the 14 member squad to represent Assam in the upcoming World T10 Cricket League.
The tournament, slated to take place in Noida from March 12 to 18, 2021, will be the first of its kind on the international level. Helmed by Team Manager Sanjiv Baro, the 14 member Assam squad also includes three players from the Cachar district. An official notice released by the DACAA mentioned the list of the entire squad.
The World T10 Cricket League is organized by the Karnataka State Physically Challenged Cricket Association (KSPCCA) which will be competed by 28 states.
The squad members of the Assam team is as follows: Bishal Kahar, Amit Kumar (Kamrup), Ali Akbar (Barpeta), Biju Choudhury (BTR), Pritam Das (Kamrup), Hirak Baruah (Tinsukia), Diganta Baruah (Golaghat), Tinku Sharma (Kamrup), Manoj Tanti (Sibsagar), Linga (Kamrup), Makibur Rahman (Nalbari), Monojit Das (Cachar), Kaushtav Chakraborty (Cachar), Uttam Das (Kamrup), and Abdur Subur (Nagaon).
Sanjiv Baro is the Team Manager.
