Barak Valley’s Jakaria Mazumder tops at Mysore University

Jakaria Mazumder of Cachar has made us all proud with his achievement at Mysore University. He has completed his Masters in Science in Biological Anthropology and has secured the first position in the University. He joined Mysore University in 2017 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Silchar.

Son of Jalal Uddin Mazumder and Kamurun Nessa Barbhuiya, Jakaria says his inspiration behind his success is his sister Shirtaz Laskar, who is also a Professor of Janata College.

Mazumder hails from a very remote village of Sonai, Nandigram Part IV. His achievement has surged the happiness of the people of his street and education lovers of the valley. Many volunteer organisations have come forward to celebrate his success and send him an good wishes.

It is worth mentioning that, Mazumder has completed his Bachelors in Science (Anthropology) from Guru Charan College, Silchar and Higher Secondary from Aryan Junior College. His sister, Shirtaz too is a Gold Medalist, which speaks volume about interest and enthusiasm regarding education in the Mazumdar family.
