Objectionable posts on Social Media: “Strict lawful action will be initiated” warns Cachar Police

After the mayhem that was unleashed in the national capital New Delhi, Police departments all across the country are closely monitoring Social Media activities. Reports of objectionable posts being deleted after the intervention of security personnel have already surfaced in many parts including Cachar district in Barak Valley.

Cacher Police has already issued a stern warning alarming the residents of the district. “Request all Citizens of Cachar district not to post any objectionable comments/contents related to any religion or society in Social media,” Cachar Police posted on its official Facebook page.

The post added, “Strict lawful action will be initiated against any person making such objectionable comments.”
