NF Railway announces seven more special trains; Silchar – Kanpur on Nov 14 one of them

N.F. Railway has decided to run seven more festival special trains from this week for passengers willing to travel during the current festive season. Out of these, six trains will run one way only and one train will run on a round trip from Anand Vihar Terminal to Katihar.

⦁ Special Train No.05688 will leave from Alipurduar Jn. at 22.30 hrs. on 13th and 15th November, 2020 to reach Lokmanya Tilak at 23.15 hrs. on 15th and 17th November, 2020 respectively. The Special Train will run via Bhattanagar and will have stoppages at Siliguri Jn., New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Bardhaman, Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Gondia, Nagpur, Akola, Bhusaval, Manmad and Kalyan. There will be 2 AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class and 7 general second class coaches apart from 2 brake, luggage cum generator cars in this train.

⦁ Special Train No. 05680 will leave from Guwahati at 06.00 hrs. on 14th November, 2020 to reach Manduadih at 05.30 hrs. next day. The Special Train will run via Goalpara and will have stoppages at New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Samastipur, Chhapra and Varanasi. There will be 1 AC 3-tier, 5 sleeper class and 11 general second class coaches apart from 3 luggage vans in this train.

⦁ Special Train No. 05685 will leave from Silchar at 22.00 hrs. on 14th November, 2020 to reach Kanpur Central at 12.00 hrs. on 16th November, 2020. The Special Train will run via Manderdisa-Patharkhola and Goalpara and will have stoppages at Badarpur, New Haflong, Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Barauni and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. There will be 1 AC 3-tier, 7 sleeper class and 12 general second class coaches apart from 2 luggage vans.

⦁ Special Train No. 05686 will leave from Dibrugarh at 12.00 hrs. on 14th November, 2020 to reach Prayagraj at 19.00 hrs. next day. The Special Train will run via Bogibeel Bridge and will have stoppages at North Lakhimpur, Rangapara North, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Barauni and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn. There will be 2 AC 3-tiers, 8 sleeper class and 11 general second class coaches apart from 2 luggage vans in this train.

⦁ Special Train No. 05687 will leave from New Tinsukia at 06.00 hrs. on 14th November, 2020 to reach Nagpur at 21.00 hrs. on 16th November, 2020. The Special Train will run via Goalpara and will have stoppages at Mariani, Lumding, Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Muzaffarpur, Danapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya Jn., Jabalpur and Itarsi. There will be 2 AC 3-tiers, 13 sleeper class and 6 general second class coaches apart from 2 luggage vans in this train.

⦁ Special Train No. 08563 will leave from Visakhapatnam at 08.50 hrs. on 12th November, 2020 to reach Dibrugarh at 05.00 hrs. on 14th November, 2020. The Special Train will have stoppages at Vizianagaram Jn., Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road Jn., Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur, Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Dankuni, Bardhaman, Rampur Hat, Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Bongaigaon, Rangiya and Rangapara North. There will be 21 LHB coaches in this train comprising of 2 AC 3-tier and 17 sleeper class coaches apart from 2 brake, luggage cum generator cars.

⦁ Another Special Train No.04480 will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.15 hrs. on 14th and 17th November, 2020 for two trips to reach Katihar at 09.20 hrs. next day. In return journey, Special Train No. 04479 will leave from Katihar at 12.30 hrs. on 15th and 18th November, 2020 for two trips to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 10.55 hrs. next day. The Special Train will have stoppages at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Jn., Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Patliputra and Barauni. There will be 8 sleeper class and 10 general second class coaches apart from 2 luggage vans in this train.

“For interested passengers, details of routes, stoppages and fare etc. are available in IRCTC website. Wait listed passengers of other trains planning to travel in these routes can also book their tickets for journey by availing the facility of these additional special trains,” informed NF Railway through a press statement.
