
Sonai-boy kills himself, leaves video blaming two boys for his death
In an alarming incident, a Sonai youth has killed himself by hanging from a tree, late at night on Sunday. He was severely depressed he said, in a video, that he shared on social media just before took the tragic step. The 25-year-old youth was a resident of Tulagram village in Sonai.
The unfortunate, Joynal Ahmed alias Mon, dedicated the video message to his friends and dear ones. Through the video, he took leave of his family and said he had many great friends. He also apologised to everyone if he has hurt them during his lifetime.
He said, “I am severely depressed and mentally unstable and that’s the reason why I am taking this step. Two people are responsible for my death — Rajiv and Manik. It’s because of them, that I have come to this point. They’ve cheated me and forced me a lot”.
He has also said that he is not sad rather happy that he won’t be alive anymore to face all these things going on with him. On Monday morning, his hanging body was spotted by passersby and reported to the Police.
After the police reached the Satbhawana Mandir of Sonai, where he hanged himself, the body was taken down from the tree. Later, the police sent the body for post-mortem to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital. An investigation has started on the said matter, but this incident has scarred the locality deeply.
