Karimganj’s bodybuilder Pratik Deb selected for Mr. Asia, Mr. World Competition 2022

After achieving success at world events of bodybuilding in Uzbekistan last year, Karimganj’s bodybuilder Pratik Deb has been selected for Mr. Asia and Mr. World championship in 2022.

The selection process for Mr. Asia and Mr. World were held between 19 to 22 May, Pratik had participated and selected in both the events. Pratik will be competing in 175cm Men’s sports physique category in the upcoming events, Pratik informed Barak Bulletin.

Mr. Asia competition will be held in Maldives between July 15- July 21. The schedule for Mr. World competition is yet to be declared.

In October, 2021, Pratik won bronze medal in the 175 cm men’s sports physique category held in Uzbekistan. Pratik Deb’s personal trainer is Moriengtham Robi Meitiei, who is a well-known sports personality in North East.

“Last time I got the bronze, this time I am determined to got the gold. I want to represent Barak Valley, my state and India at the world stage,” Pratik told Barak Bulletin.
