Barak ke Bahubali, youth fest by Shantica starts from 28 September, over 200 registrations received so far

Shantica, a mentoring institute based in Silchar is going to organise a youth fest on September 28 in Gandhi Bhawan. The fest, “Barak ke Bahubali” is being organised at an inter-college level where participants from throughout the valley have registered for different events. There are seven different categories, where different participants can take part in.

The different contests in this fest include an offbeat career contest where one can show how they monetized their hobbies or are into alternative career options; a quiz contest; a sales contest where one can persuade the judge to buy a product. Along with that, there is also a think tank where participants can brainstorm innovative ideas for the development of Barak Valley. Other contests include logo making contest, the minute speaker and a digital poster-making contest.

Speaking about the participation in the event, Sucharita Dhar, the founder of Shantica said, “We have received over 200 registrations from all colleges of Silchar, Karimganj, Kabuganj and Hailakandi for this event. After a huge response to the start-up contest in 2021, Team Shantica is launching the Barak ke Bahubali contest, where one can participate in the different contests”. Dhar also mentioned, “Eminent personalities are invited to be part of the Finale Round, And a very diverse field of judges have been shortlisted for the panel. Winners will get exciting vouchers!”.

Shantica is an institute co-founded by Sucharita Dhar and Tapashree Deb, which helps strengthen an individual’s soft skills such as communication skills, interview skills, resume-building skills, email writing skills, confidence-building skills etc.
