Anti-drug campaign continues in Hailakandi, Huge cache of drugs seized by Police

The ongoing anti-drug campaign in Hailakandi has resulted in the seizure of large quantity of banned drugs. Today, a significant haul of drugs was seized during the operation.

A team of Police officials conducted a raid in Ramnathpur and recovered 42 containers of banned drugs from a boat ashore in Dhaleshwari river. The seized drugs are believed to be worth a substantial amount of money. Additionally, the police officials also recovered 3 daos and a sum of Rs. 1,00,900 in cash.

The seizure of the drugs was part of the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking in the region. Three drug dealers have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The Hailakandi police have intensified their efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region, and the operation is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. The authorities are determined to put an end to the drug menace in the region and are calling on the public to cooperate with them in their efforts.
