Man gets involved in extra marital affair with a maid from different religion, Bajrang Dal alleges Love Jihad

Mulla Jalal Uddin Laskar, a resident of North Krishnapur Part I got involved in an illicit affair with his maid, leading to a case being filed against him at Rangirkhari Police Station. As per details, it is known that Suraiya Begum Laskar’s husband Mulla Jalal Uddin Laskar had an extra marital relationship with Rina Bauri, a maid from a different religion since many days. When Suraiya Begum saw his affair with the maid and confronted her husband Jalal Uddin about it, he beat her and kicked her out of the house.

It maybe mentioned that Rina Bauri along with her husband Rabi Bauri and their children were living at Jalal Uddin’s house doing menial jobs for them. Eventually, Jalal Uddin called Rabi Bauri an addict and forcibly sent him to a drug addiction free centre. After a lot of trouble, Rabi Bauri managed to escape from the addiction free centre and went to Jalal Uddin’s house searching for his wife. Jalal Uddin threatened Rabi that he would not show him his wife and warned to kill him. He also asked Rabi to leave the house.

Later Jalal Uddin’s wife Suraiya Begum and Rabi Bauri went to Silchar Rangirkhari Police Station alongwith members of Bajrang Dal and filed a case against Jalal Uddin. Taking cognisance of the matter, Rangirkhari Police arrested Jalal Uddin and brought him to the Police Station. Talking to media, Suriya Begum and Rabi Bauri demanded justice from the District Administration.

Addressing the media, Bajrang Dal members alleged that Jalal Uddin was conspiring to change the religion of Rina Bauri and her own children terming the incident Love Jihad. They demanded the Police to take strict action against Jalal Uddin.
