Assam Govt. announces CM Medal winners’ list: DIG Southern, SP Cachar, Karimganj among Five from Barak Valley

On the eve of 77th Independence Day, the Governor of Assam has bestowed the Chief Minister’s Special Service Medal in a Crisis Situation and Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Outstanding Service to Assam Police personnel. Five high ranking Police officials from two districts of Barak Valley have been conferred with the two medals.

The Chief Minister’s Special Service Medal in a Crisis situation has been conferred to Deputy Inspector General of Police (SR), Silchar, Kangkan Jyoti Saikia and Cachar Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta.

The Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Outstanding service has been conferred to Karimganj Superintendent of Police Partha Protim Das, Cachar Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Kalyan Kr. Das and Karimganj Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ) Pratap Das.
