Father dies after hearing news of son’s demise in Dholai

A father tragically died due to a heart attack after hearing the news of his son’s demise. The heart wrenching incident took place at Dholai’s Punicherra village. As per reports, the dead body of a youth named Badan Bagdi was found at his own house lying on the floor. The neighbours noticed it and informed his father Naba Bagdi about the matter. He was working in the field at that time.

After hearing the news of his son’s demise, he started running towards their house and that is when he suffered a heart attack and died. The Dholai Police was informed and they came to the spot. The bodies of both father and son were sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post mortem examination.

Mystery has surrounded regarding the circumstances in which Badan Bagdi died. The Police are investigating whether it is a suicide or a murder.
