In photos: Take a look at NIT Silchar Dean Academic B K Roy’s quarter, vandalised and bamboozled

Here is a tour of Professor BK Roy, Dean Academic, NIT Silchar’s house after it was vandalised by the Students of NIT Silchar. Professor Roy has been a long serving servant of the institution and a former Register. He has passed out from Regional Engineering College Silchar which is now known as National Institute of Technology.

His wife Rupa Roy and his son were hiding in the bedroom when the students tried to break it open to beat them up. Some students even removed the LPG cylinder and was heard by our correspondent saying, “Jala do Jala do”.
