
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to Visit Silchar for Ramakrishna Mission Temple Consecration & Key Events
Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to visit Silchar on March 18 to attend a series of important events, the most anticipated being the consecration ceremony of the newly built Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsadeva. The event is part of a week-long centenary celebration at Ramakrishna Mission Sevaashrama, Silchar.
According to the official itinerary, Sarma will arrive at Silchar Airport at 8:00 AM via flight from Kolkata. His schedule includes attending the temple consecration of the newly built Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna and centenary celebrations from 9:25 AM to 11:00 AM. Thousands of devotees and Maharajs from across the country and beyond have reached Silchar for the week-long celebration that began on March 15.
He will then proceed to Deshbhakta Tarunram Phukan HS School to participate in its Golden Jubilee celebrations. Later, he will visit Silchar Civil Hospital, where he will lay the foundation stone for a new critical care block and oversee the virtual foundation stone laying of Silchar Circuit House, before leaving for Delhi.
