Five Absconding Accused Arrested in NBWA Drive by Sribhumi Police
In a significant step towards upholding the law, the Badarpur Police Station staff, along with the In-Charge of Maluwa outpost, carried out a successful drive against Non-Bailable Warrant Accused (NBWAs) last night. The operation led to the arrest of five individuals who were absconding despite being under trial. Despite facing trials in court, they had been missing for a long time. Their continued absence led to the issuing of Non-Bailable Warrants.
Superintendent of Police, Sribhumi, Partha Pratim Das confirmed the arrests. He said, “Last night, a drive against NBWA was conducted by Badarpur PS staff and IC Maluwa, and five NBWAs were executed successfully.”
