
PM Modi’s 12 Years at the Helm Celebrated with Special Prayers by BJP Minority Morcha in Cachar
The BJP Minority Morcha, Cachar district unit, organised a prayer meeting at Al Jamiatul Islamia Khanqah-e-Madani in Purba Gobindapur on Wednesday to mark the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led Central Government.
According to the organisers, the programme was part of a series of events being conducted across the country by the Bharatiya Janata Party to commemorate the government’s 12 years in office.
During the event, Islamic scholar Maulana Ahmed Sayyid Gobindapuri was felicitated by BJP Minority Morcha members. A special prayer was also offered for the good health, long life and continued public service of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at the programme, BJP Minority Morcha Cachar district president Ataur Rahman Laskar said similar prayer meetings had been organised at mosques, churches and dargahs as part of the observance. He stated that members of the organisation had gathered to pray for the Prime Minister’s well-being and longevity.
In his address, Maulana Ahmed Sayyid Gobindapuri spoke about peace, humanity and public service. He said he regularly listens to the Prime Minister’s speeches and appreciated efforts aimed at national development and social harmony.
Maulana Ahmed Sayyid Gobindapuri also said that people may belong to different political organisations, but values such as peace, humanity and mutual respect should remain common to all. He further prayed for peace in Assam and across India and expressed hope that leaders would continue working for the welfare of all sections of society.
During the prayer session, Maulana Gobindapuri offered prayers for the well-being of the people of the country and for continued peace, harmony and development.
The programme was attended by office-bearers and members of the BJP Minority Morcha, Cachar district unit.
