CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Coming to Silchar Tomorrow, Mega BJP Rally at 4 PM

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will arrive in Silchar tomorrow to campaign for the upcoming Silchar Municipal Corporation election and address a major BJP public meeting.

According to the scheduled programme, the Chief Minister will arrive in Silchar in the morning and head directly to the Assam Secretariat, Barak Valley, at Srikona from the airport. He will sit at his office there and review various development works and issues related to the Barak Valley.

During his visit to the Secretariat, CM Sarma is also scheduled to interact with members of the public and listen to their concerns.

At 4 pm, the Chief Minister will attend a BJP election meeting at the Silchar Police Parade Ground. He will campaign in support of the party’s candidates and address BJP workers, supporters and the public.

Kaushik Rai said Dr Sarma’s visit comes for the second time to the Barak Valley since becoming Assam Chief Minister for the second time. He described the visit as a happy moment and said the Chief Minister would listen to people, interact with them and address the public.

Rai further said Dr Sarma would speak about his plans for Silchar during the public meeting at the Police Parade Ground. He also invited the public to attend the meeting at the ground.

The Chief Minister’s visit comes amid the ongoing campaign for the Silchar Municipal Corporation election and has generated enthusiasm among BJP workers and supporters in the region.
