Halloween-Themed VELVT CURSE 2.0 To Bring Music, Dance, Cosplay And Hip-Hop To Silchar On November 3
Silchar is gearing up for a Halloween-themed evening of music, dance, fashion, and entertainment as VELVT is set to host the second edition of its themed event, VELVT CURSE 2.0, on November 3, 2026, at Hotel Biva, Rangirkhari. Promising a blend of entertainment and creative expression, the event will bring together a Halloween-themed DJ night, live music, dance performances, cosplay, and a fashion rampwalk under one roof. Masroor A. Laskar, the Organizer cum Founder of Velvt, said four lucky winners will get a chance to win a fully sponsored trip to Tumjang Peak in Dima Hasao.
The programme offers audiences across Barak Valley an alternative to conventional entertainment nights, with multiple attractions under one roof, with “Stranger Things” as the theme.
Adding to the musical lineup, Korvexis, Hoofers Hive and Swastik Singh are set to take the stage, bringing hip-hop and contemporary musical performances to VELVT CURSE 2.0. Their performances will add to the evening’s musical experience, alongside the Halloween-themed DJ night and live music sessions, promising audiences a diverse mix of sounds and entertainment.

Beyond music, the event will feature a dedicated dance show and cosplay segment, encouraging attendees to embrace the Halloween spirit through costumes, makeup and creative styling. The rampwalk, hosted by Shine Agency, will add a fashion and modelling element to the programme.
Organisers are also promoting additional attractions for attendees, including a chance to win a trip to Tumjang. Participants can also avail themselves of advertised shopping discounts at selected businesses, including 25% off at S.S. Bhura Shop and 30% off at Kusum Trading Co., subject to applicable terms and conditions.
With individual, couple, and group ticket options, VELVT has announced several entry categories. While the Early Bird Pass of Rs. 199 has been sold out, a Single Pass is priced at Rs. 239 and a Couple Pass at Rs. 369. A special Buy 4, Get 1 Free offer is also available for Rs. 956, allowing five people to attend at an effective cost of Rs. 191.20 per person.
Scheduled to begin at 5 PM, the event is expected to attract more than 250 attendees, according to the organisers’ current planning estimate.
With its combination of music, performance, fashion, and Halloween-themed activities, VELVT CURSE 2.0 aims to create a vibrant social and entertainment experience for Silchar’s younger audience and creative communities.
