After bike, now youth resort to stunts with car in Rohit Shetty style; Video from Cachar goes viral

Assam Police had recently taken strict action against two-wheeler stunting in the state including districts of Barak Valley. However, the crackdown on bike stunts seems to have given rise to a new trend in Assam. The new trend is now seeing many youngsters resorting to four-wheeler stunts in different parts of the state.

Recently, nine teenagers were arrested in Dhemaji after their video featuring stunts with a car went viral. The video was seen and shared by many on social media, and that led to the arrest of the teenagers.

But it seems the warning by the Special Director General of Police of Assam GP Singh has fallen on deaf ears. The police had warned people of strict action against those displaying stunts on social media platforms, and they had asked people to inform the police immediately as soon as they see someone performing stunts. However, it seems many youngsters are still continuing with their stunts despite the warning.

Now there is another video that has gone viral, and the creators are from Cachar. After bike stunts, many recalcitrant youths of Silchar are resorting to stunt driving in Silchar’s roads with Bolero car. Challenging the police, the youths are doing intrepid stunts on Mahasadak during the day as well as night.

The Assam Police had previously cracked down on bike stunt riders, and it had led to a reduction in the menace of speeding bikes in the state. Many youths involved in bike stunts were arrested and sent to jail. However, this new trend of car stunts is posing a new challenge to the police.

Everyday, groups of youths gather and perform stunts on Mahasadak later uploading them on social media as if challenging the Police despite knowing about the crackdown on stunt riders. The police are now expected to take strict action against the offenders to curb this new trend of car stunts.
