AHSEC Announces HS Final Year Exams to begin from Feb 12, will conclude on March 13

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has officially released the schedule for the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Year Examinations, bringing clarity to the anxious students across the state. The exams are set to commence on February 12 and will continue until March 13, 2024.

In a press statement issued by the AHSEC, it was revealed that the practical exams for HS final-year students are scheduled to be conducted from January 24 to February 8, 2024. This crucial component of the examination process is designed to assess the practical knowledge and skills of the students across various subjects.

The examination sessions will be divided into two shifts to accommodate the large number of candidates. The morning shift will take place from 9 AM to 11 AM, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This decision aims to streamline the examination process and ensure a smooth experience for both students and examiners.

In an effort to provide students with ample time to familiarize themselves with the question papers, the AHSEC has announced a provision of 10 extra minutes before the commencement of both shifts. This additional time is intended to allow students to carefully read and understand the questions, aiding them in presenting their knowledge effectively during the examination.

The AHSEC has urged all students to adhere to the prescribed schedule and arrive at the examination centers well in advance.
