Barak Valley’s badminton sensation, Suraj Goala, has clinched the Men’s Doubles title at the prestigious Yonex Sunrise V.V. Natu Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2024. The tournament, which commenced on July 8, concluded today with a thrilling final held in Pune.

In the Men’s Doubles category, the top-seeded pair of Suraj Goala of Assam and Dhruv Rawat from Uttarakhand showcased their prowess by defeating the duo of Ravikrishna PS and Akshan Shetty. The match ended with scores of 21-15 and 22-20, taking just 40 minutes for Goala and Rawat to secure their victory.

The tournament was organised by the Maharashtra Badminton Association and was sanctioned by the Badminton Association of India.
