Cabinet meeting in Silchar scheduled on Nov 11 has been postponed

After the Cabinet meeting on October 19, the government of Assam announced that the Cabinet Meeting in Silchar would be held on November 11. However, based on information from the state secretariat and the local administration, Barak Bulletin can confirm that the meeting has been postponed.

A senior official in Dispur stated that there is a change in plan as a senior delegation is likely to visit Guwahati on November 11. That is why the Cabinet meeting is being postponed to a later date. However, it is expected that the Cabinet meeting will be held in November itself.

This is the third time the cabinet meeting in Silchar has been postponed. Previously, the cabinet meeting was postponed twice due to the flash floods.
