Cachar Administration Gears Up For Smooth Conduct Of NEET 2025 Examination

With the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2025 scheduled for Sunday, May 4, the Cachar District Administration has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination across the district.

In a high-level review meeting held on Saturday at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Silchar, Deputy Commissioner Mridul Yadav took stock of the preparedness of all departments involved. The meeting was attended by the Superintendent of Police, Centre In-Charges of the seven designated examination centres, and officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Addressing the stakeholders, DC Yadav emphasised the importance of transparency, discipline, and strict adherence to protocols. He urged all departments to work in close coordination to ensure a peaceful and glitch-free examination experience for the candidates. “Maintaining the sanctity of the examination process is paramount. Adequate support must be provided in terms of access, logistics and security,” he said.

Adding to the significance of the meeting, Government of Assam-appointed Observers—M.N. Dahal, Meenakshi Das Nath, and Alakananda Medhi—were also present. Their guidance, officials said, has further strengthened the district’s strategic and operational framework for the conduct of NEET 2025.

The District Administration has reaffirmed its commitment to uphold the integrity of the examination and extend full support to all candidates and stakeholders involved.

This was stated in a press release issued by the Regional Office of Information and Public Relations, Barak Valley Zone, Silchar.
