Cachar Police Nab Two with Hidden Heroin Stash in Digorkhal
In a decisive move against drug trafficking, Cachar police arrested two men with a significant stash of heroin during a routine check in Digorkhal. In a major breakthrough, two drug suppliers, Rasul Hussain and Rebul Hussain, were arrested with a considerable amount of heroin in Digorkhal, Cachar. The arrest took place at a police checkpoint in Digorkhal during a routine search operation.
Upon stopping a vehicle with registration number AS 01 AM 0131, police discovered seven soap cases containing a total of 70 grams of heroin. Rasul Hussain and Rebul Hussain, the individuals caught transporting the drugs, are both residents of Lakhipur, Cachar.
Visuals from the scene show police officers uncovering the hidden heroin stash from the car’s boot, where it was concealed under several layers in an attempt to evade detection. The traffickers had carefully placed the soap cases of heroin beneath other items, hoping to fool the authorities. However, the meticulous search by police uncovered the drugs, leading to the immediate arrest of the two suspects.
