Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to kickstart 2-day Cachar visit today; Will visit Bhuban tomorrow
The scheduled visit of the Assam CM will set off when Himanta Biswa Sarma will fly down to Silchar from Guwahati on Saturday morning. From there, at 9:15 am he will first go to Ambicapatty in Silchar by road, from where he is scheduled to go out for inspection of the plot for Mini Secretariat at 11 am. The Chief Minister will then go to inspect the bypass road, i e, ring road at around 11:30 am. Later, Chief Minister Dr Sarma will lay the foundation stone of a new construction Silchar Red Cross at 12 pm and then head to the Silchar Circuit House.
At 3 pm, CM Biswa Sarma will visit the Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) to inaugurate the new 40-bedded special ICU and the 30-bedded ICU specially dedicated for children and infants. From 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm, a meeting is scheduled to be held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar with representatives of the Hindi-speaking and Manipuri communities. Later, the CM is also scheduled to attend a meeting with some volunteers organisations as already planned before.
On the next day, September 19, the Chief Minister will attend a program at Motinagar’s Bhuban Pahar at 9.30 am. From there, he will visit the Khaspur Rajbari in the Udharbond constituency where he’ll attend another programme. He will then head back to Silchar where he’s scheduled to attend an event of the Bimlangshu Roy Foundation at Banga Bhawan at 6.30 pm. After that, the Chief Minister will travel back to Guwahati the following day, on September 20.
