Gautam Roy denies joining BJP, says he is in Kolkata

Former minister and veteran Congress leader Gautam Roy, on Wednesday, dismissed the possibility of joining the BJP.

Gossips of Roy joining the BJP made the rounds once again on Tuesday after a number of news websites uploaded stories last evening that Roy would be officially joining the BJP on Wednesday.

When contacted, Roy said over phone on Wednesday morning that he did not have any such plans and that he was in Kolkata to attend his ailing uncle, who is admitted at nursing home in Kolkata.

He rubbished the gossips saying nothing like that had been finalised.
