Hailakandi administration takes strong action against unfair means in D.El.Ed examination; several expelled
The Hailakandi district administration has taken a slew of measures for ensuring proper and smooth conduct of D.El.Ed examination.
Examination are being held in 19 centres across the district.
It appointed authorised officer in each centre, who have been put under the control, and supervision of a magistrate.
The administration banned taking mobile phones inside the centres by the examinees.
Following the strict directive from Deputy Commissioner, Adil Khan, several examinees were expelled and even invigilators had to face the music for resorting to unfair means.
Meanwhile, the administration has strongly denied, as presented in a news channel, that examination paper was leaked before the commencement of examination today.
The administration is now mulling over not allowing even invigilators to carry phones inside the examination centres.
Section 144 Cr.PC is already in force in the district.
The examination that began today will be over on June 2.
