Head-on collision between bike and 4-wheeler in Palonghat, severely injured biker admitted at SMCH

A dreadful headon collision between a car and bike, in the Palonghat area of Dholai, has severely injured the rider. While the driver of the Alto K10 managed to flee from the spot, the biker lay there with severe injuries. 

This incident happened on December 4 at around 12 noon near the Palonghat Monday Bazar area on the Kabuganj Amraghat road. The car bearing registration number AS 11S 4226 and the Splendor motorbike with registration number AS 11J 9180 met at a head-on collision on the side of the road. The locals hearing a loud thud rushed to the spot and saw the bike driver lying in a pool of blood, while the car driver was nowhere to be found. They called the police and ambulance, post which he was rushed to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital.

From the impact of the accident, it seems both the vehicles were at a very high speed, the bonnet of the car looks in very bad shape and the glass has also been shattered. The bike too has several damages.

The injured went through severe blood loss and looks in critical condition. So far, the name or address of the injured bike rider has not been found.
