Hit and run: Class 9 student dies in Karimganj after speeding motorcycle runs over his bicycle

A class 9 student has died in a road accident in Karimganj. This accident happened near Baba Hotel on Karimganj Bye-Pass Road. The deceased has been identified as Dilawar Hussain, a resident of Mubarakpur, Bakarshal area of Karimganj.

A bike bearing registration number, AS 10W 5543 collided with Dilawar’s cycle and he fell off his cycle. Due to this collision, Dilawar’s injured his head and started bleeding. This severe injury took Dilawar’s life on the spot. The bike rider was successful in escaping the spot.

When locals gathered around, they took Dilawar’s body to the Karimganj Civil Hospital. But the doctors there declared him dead.

The death of this young student of Bakarshal High School had resulted in huge outrage in the area. After the police complaint, the police seized the bike which took Dilawar’s life along with his cycle for investigation. So far, the Police had no success in tracking the bike owner or the bike rider.
