Simanta Dutta Choudhury, director Ramanuj Gupta Junior College, said, “Quiz and debates are mental exercises which should be conducted on a regular basis. It is good to see that Jyoti is providing the students with a platform through which students can overcome their fear and speak out their minds.” Sourindra Kumar Bhattacharjee, Simanta Dutta Choudhury, Purnendu Bhattacharjee, Hitesh Goswami and Roma Bhattacharjee also spoke on the occasion.
A huge number of participants have registered their names for the 15th and the 13th edition of NERICIQ and NERICID respectively. The two-day gala event began Saturday morning with the lighting of the auspicious lamp. Winners of these competitions will get lumpsum prize money.
