Keerthi Jalli transfer cancelled; to continue as Hailakandi DC

The earlier order of Assam Government’s Personnel department, transferring Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli to Jorhat, has been cancelled by the same department on 26th February 2020, vide an order AAI 37/2019/22-D.

The order stated “In cancellation of this department Notification No. 37/2019/16-B dates 13-01-2020, Smti J Keerti IAS is allowed to continue as Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi”.

Earlier order (13.01.2020), appointed Gurdeep Singh Panesar as the new Deputy Commisioner of Hailakndi. He has also been now asked to continue in his post of Joint Secretary to Soil Conservation Department, GoA.

It can be mentioned here that, Keerthi Jalli has won applause from many sections of the society for her unique public outreach programmes and initiatives to improve the district’s health and social index.

Recently, five innovative schemes and projects of the district administration have been selected for nominations for SKOCH Award. The schemes are Akanksha, Seetalpati diversification, Amla-Gur Candy, Matrideep and Jal Surakshan Prakalpa.
