“Khela Hobe” slogan echoes in Silchar as Dilip Paul walks to submit nomination

Supporters of former Silchar MLA Dilip Paul gathered in large number as he walked into the deputy commissioner’s office to submit the nomination papers to contest in the upcoming elections.

A procession of about 2000 supporters started marching from a convention centre near Silchar DSA and walked towards the centre of the town.

Speaking with Barak Bulletin, Paul said “The procession has marched towards the town and will visit areas in Tulapatty, Janiganj and reach at the main gate of Cachar district administration.”

Meanwhile, as there are formalities to be completed at DC’s office Paul has left the procession and reached to submit his nomination form. The procession in in the middle of the town.

To excite the supporters, the campaign team of Dilip Paul composed a new version of “Khela Hobe” which takes a jibe at the BJP and NEDA chief Himanta Biswa Sarma
