A new airport in Barak Valley, Flyover in Silchar, 400 crore for mini secreteriat CM Sonowal makes massive announcements

Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal will lay the foundation stone for a number of projects in Silchar today. The projects include a mini secretariat in Barak Valley, new auditorium cum library, sports stadium at Police Parade Ground and cultural and research centre at Assam University.

11:20 AM: CM along with MP Sushmita Dev and other senior leaders of Barak Valley inaugurated the new Sadarghat Bridge. He is now heading towards Police Parade Ground.
