Massive fire in Dudhpati, four houses burnt to ashes
A deadly fire decimated four houses in Dudhpatil area. Today morning at around 8 o’clock flames and smoke donned the the sky above the village and shocked the residents of the are. It is presumed that LPG Cyllinder is the source of the fire which turned wild in no time.
The houses had wood and tin in its structure and the easily inflammatory substances made it worse. An eye witness say not a single thread could be saved, everything is turned to ashes now. As per initial observation the loss from the fire is estimated to be around Rs 10 lakh.
Tea stall runner Haralal Das, fisherman Pramod Das, sweets shop owner Krishnakanta Das and chat house proprietor Mokul Das lost their houses and are homeless now. All of them expect government support and relief for them and their family members. Most of them are daily wagers and keep their earnings at home, the notes are burnt to ashes and the coins have lost their shape. Hope they soon rise like phoenix.
