Meeting held regarding smooth conduct of Shiv Ratri at Bhuban Hill, number of resolutions adopted by administration
A meeting was held for the smooth conduct of Shivratri Utsab at Bhuban Hill starting from February 17. The meeting was held at the conference hall of the office of Circle Officer, Sonai Revenue Circle. It was presided over by Dr. Dipankar Nath, ACS, Circle Officer, Sonai Revenue Circle. After threadbare discussion the following resolutions were adopted in the meeting :
1. In view of safety of devotees as well as greater interest of the public it has been decided that no devotee will be allowed to come downwards from Bhuban hill through Matinagar side from February 18, 2023 4:00 pm till 5:00 am of February 19, 2023
2. No devotee will be allowed to carry intoxicating materials like liquor/wine/opium etc. to bhuban hill. Check post to be made at the bottom of the hill in both sides i.e. in Matinagar side and in Krishnapur side. Strict checking to be done by Excise officials in collaboration with Police personnel.
3. No vehicle other than Govt. Vehicle like Ambulance/Disaster Management Vehicle/SDRF Vehicle/Police Vehicle or any other vehicle related with emergency service will be allowed to ply over under construction PWD road of the Bhuban hill through Krishnapur road towards the temple.
4. No vehicle other than Govt Vehicle like Ambulance/Disaster Management Vehicle/SDRF Vehicle/Police Vehicle or any other vehicle related with emergency service will be allowed to cross the RCC Bridge near Charan Mandir at Krishnapur and arrangements for parking will be made before the bridge
5. Matinagar Side puja committee/Krishnapur side puja committee to arrange all facilities like fooding, sitting, lighting, temporary shed, water etc for the team deputed from Administration for smooth conduct of Mela.
6. Adequate force to be deployed during the Mela days i.e. from February 17 to February 19, 2023 especially in the vulnerable areas like Hatubhanga in Matinagar side and near Borouthni near Hanuman mandir in Krishnapur side.
7. Medical Team to be deployed in bottom of the hill in both the sides and one team each in Hatubhanga area in Matinagar side, near Borouthni near Hanuman mandir in Krishnapur side and one team at the top of the hill with all medical equipments alongwith first aids and also to keep atleast two nos of Ambulances in ready position in the bottom of the hill in both the sides.
8. Proper arrangements of lighting to be done in all the vulnerable places towards Bhuban Mandir in both sides.
9. PWD to make arrangements for watering of both the roads i.e. from February 17, 2023 to February 19, 2023.
10. Adequate nos. of toilet facilities alongwith water facility to be setup by PHE Div-ll in the bottom of the hill in both sides as well as in the top of the hill in consultation with Puja committees.
11. Training of Bhuban Mela volunteers on basic rescue techniques to be organized on February 15, 2023 at 11.0 AM at Charan Mandir, Krishnapur
12. Wakie Talkie will be provided by Vishwa Hindu Parishad to all the officials engaged in emergency work.
13. SDRF Team to be deployed in the bottom of the hill in both the sides as well as in Hatubhanga area in Matinagar side, near Borouthni near Hanuman mandir in Krishnapur side and one team at the top of the hill with all rescue equipments.
14. AAPDA MITRA Volunteers to be deployed at the bottom of the hill in both the sides as well as in Hatubhanga area in Matinagar side, near Borouthni near Hanuman Mandir in Krishnapur side.
15. Two nos of 4×4 vehicles to be provided for rescue/emergency purpose if required and also for transportation of AAPDA MITRA volunteers for 3 days.
16. Additional Officers need to be deputed from DDMA, Cachar to monitor the overall programme
17. 250 Nos of ID & 20 nos. of Vehicle Pass to be provided to Krishnapur Committee for transportation of materials to the Bhuban Mandir.
