Mysterious death unfolds at Cachar BJP Office, Police launches investigation

A shocking incident transpired this morning at the Cachar District BJP office located at Itkhola, Silchar, as the lifeless body of a person named Sudhangsu Das was mysteriously discovered in the VIP room on the first floor. The Police have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.

According to Cachar BJP President Bimalendu Roy, Sudhangsu Das occasionally used to live at the BJP office alongwith their canteen staff Nantu Roy. Sudhangsu Das wasn’t a staff of the BJP office himself though. Today morning, Nantu Roy informed the BJP President that he was unable to open Sudhangsu’s room. Police were immediately contacted, and upon their arrival, the door was forcibly opened, revealing the lifeless body of Sudhangsu Das lying within.

The police dispatched the body to the morgue of Silchar Medical College and Hospital. As the investigation unfolds, the circumstances surrounding Sudhangsu Das’s death remain shrouded in mystery.

While speaking to reporters, Bimalendu Roy also clarified that he had been unaware of Sudhangsu Das’ presence at the BJP office until Nantu Roy informed him of the tragic event this morning.

When asked by the reporters, Nantu Roy was unable to provide Sudhangsu Das’ residential address despite claiming to have reportedly worked together for the last one year. Nantu Roy’s statement indicated that there were certain inconsistencies in his claims and has raised additional questions about the relationship between the two individuals and the events leading up to Sudhangsu Das’ untimely demise.
