NF Railways announces Silchar – New Delhi Special weekly train; Will leave Silchar on Mondays

Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to run two special trains between New Delhi and Silchar and New Delhi and Guwahati. Through a press statement, the NFR announced that the trains will be operational from this month till further advice for the benefit of passengers.

The services of Train No. 04038/04037 New Delhi-Silchar-New Delhi Express Special will run weekly. Train No. 04038 New Delhi-Silchar Express special will run on Thursday w.e.f. 22.07.2021 leaving from New Delhi at 23:45 hours to reach Silchar at 19:35 hours on Saturday.

In return direction, Train No. 04037 Silchar-New Delhi Express Special will run on Monday w.e.f. 26.07.2021 leaving from Silchar at 18:50 hours to reach New Delhi at 12:35 hours on Wednesday.

The services of Train No. 04032/04031 New Delhi-Guwahati-New Delhi Superfast Express Special will run biweekly. Train No. 04032 New Delhi-Guwahati Superfast Express Special will run on Wednesday and Sunday w.e.f. 25.07.2021 leaving from New Delhi at 23:45 hours to reach Guwahati at 08:20 hours on third day.

In return direction, Train No. 04031 Guwahati-New Delhi Superfast Express Special will run on Wednesday and Saturday w.e.f. 28.07.2021 leaving from Guwahati at 06:15 hours to reach New Delhi on next day at 12:35 hours.

“The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway’s website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey,” stated the Press Statement issued by CPRO Shubhanan Chanda.
