
No Shortage Of Domestic LPG Cylinders In Cachar, Administration Urges Public Not To Pay Heed To Rumours
The Cachar district administration has clarified that there is no shortage or disruption in the supply of domestic LPG cylinders in the district and that the distribution system is functioning smoothly.
In a press release issued, the administration stated that all LPG retail outlets across the district currently have adequate stock. It further said that the supply and distribution of domestic LPG cylinders are continuing without any difficulty or interruption.
The administration appealed to the citizens of Cachar not to worry or pay heed to rumours regarding any shortage. It also advised the public to avoid creating unnecessary rush or congestion at LPG retail outlets.
Reassuring residents, the district administration stated that adequate arrangements are in place to ensure an uninterrupted supply of domestic LPG cylinders across the district and that there is no cause for concern.
Citizens were further urged to rely only on official information and verified sources and to cooperate with the authorities in maintaining normalcy.
Earlier in the day, Assam Police wrote on X, “Strict legal action will be taken against anyone trying to spread rumours about shortages of LPG, POL and other petroleum products. Citizens are advised not to believe or forward such any misleading claims that may be spread by inimical elements to try and create confusion”.
