Police complaint against Badapur MLA Abdul Aziz’s son for alleged assault on beautician
Badarpur MLA, Abdul Aziz had Police visiting his residence today. This comes after a woman working as a beautician at a parlour lodged a complaint against the MLA’s son, Javen Jaman, aka, “Raja”.
According to her complaint, she had an appointment with MLA’s wife and daughter-in-law to do their face spa. When she was there, the situation took a wrong turn. Her equipment was inside in the room and she kept knocking to open the same, however, MLA’s daughter-in-law, i.e Raja’s wife didn’t open it.
“His mother was also there and she too knocked on the door, but it remain locked from inside. When the door was opened by Raja’s wife, he saw she was talking to someone over the phone. He thought I gave my phone to his wife and so, he started assaulting me. I was hit on my head and suffered injuries at many other spots in my body,” said the beautician.
The complaint was lodged at the Police Station, however, sources in the Police department informed that case hasn’t been registered yet. “We are looking into the matter and have started an investigation. What we gathered is there was some differences in opinion between parties that led to an alleged assault,” said a police personnel who didn’t wish to be named.
Meanwhile, the Police visited the MLA’s residence to meet Raja and talk to him about the incident. Police van wailing into the MLA’s gigantic palace garnered the attention of many locals. It is worth mentioning here that Abdul Aziz contested from Badarpur in 2021 General Elections to the Assembly from the ticket of AIUDF and won against BJP’s Biswaroop Bhattacharjee.
