Power outage in Cachar for next 7 days; Feeder No. 4 to remain shut due to road widening

Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has announced that the 11 kV Chirukandi feeder no. 4 will be undergoing a shutdown from 10 am to 2 pm tomorrow and will continue for the next 7-8 days.

The reason behind the power outage is the shifting (construction of new line & dismantling of the existing line) of 11 kV lines along the Hailakandi Road between Rangirkhari point and N S Avenue, due to road widening work by the Public Works Department (PWD).

The affected areas due to the power outage will be N.S. Avenue, N.H. Way, Shantipur Lane 1 & 2, Rishi Aurobinda Sarani, Das Colony, Udayan Complex, Rangirkhari, Tarani Road, Janata lane, Hridoy Sarani, Gopal akhra and other nearby localities.

APDCL has sincerely regrated the inconvenience caused to the residents of these areas.
