Razzmatazz 2025: NIT Silchar’s annual school fest returns with a burst of culture and competition

Razzmatazz, the flagship event of Incandescence, is all set to bring the cultural and competitive spirit of NIT Silchar to life once again. The annual fest, a major attraction for the school students of Barak Valley, will kick off on February 22 with an opening ceremony graced by the esteemed faculty of the premier engineering college. Organised entirely by students, the two-day event promises a blend of creativity, competition, and entertainment.

Razzmatazz features diverse competitions to engage young minds, from Quizzes to boggle your mind to mobile games to let your hearts race, they’ve got it all.

Othello: Includes ‘Teen Rowdies’ (a personal interview challenge), ‘Quiz’ (inter-school quizzing showdown), and ‘Halla Bol’ (a debate competition).
Akriti: Offers ‘Act Pro’ (drama contest) and ‘Word Combat’ (puzzles for the prodigy of vocabulary).
Orchid: Showcases ‘Raga’ (music competition), ‘Nrityangana’ (dance showdown), and ‘Yuvdhwani’ (ramp walk event).
Gamezone: Hosts online tournaments in Call of Duty, FIFA, and Valorant.
