Shibam Multimedia to launch Uttarsuri- a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar and Salil Choudhury

One of the well known production houses of silchar, Shibam Multimedia production, after their many successful projects have came up  with “Uttarsuri “.

Uttarsuri is a project based on one of the evergreen composition of the legendary music composer Salil Choudhury and was sung by the nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar.

In a conversation with barakbulletin.com, the director of the production house Shibam Das said that they have taken this project in order to pay tribute to both the legendary music artists. The promo of the project will be released on their official YouTube channel on September 5 as a mark of respect on the death anniversary of Salil Choudhury.

Das also added that the main video will be released on 28 September as a token of love and respect on the 90th birthday of the living legend, Lata Mangeshkar.

20 young talents from Barak Valley would be seen performing in the video. The concept of the project was brought up by Shibam Das, who also happens to be the cinematographer of the project. The music was arranged and mixed by Ranabir Singha and edited by Biplab Sharma. The entire project was composed by Nirupam Barbhuiya. Swagatam Roy was the assistant cinematographer whereas the assistant director was Disha Das.

Shibam Das further said, “ This project needs love, support and blessings from the viewers and to have a glance at the promo video, one must keep an eye on our YouTube channel”.
