Silchar-Guwahati, Silchar-Trivandrum trains remain canceled after good trains derailed at Phiding

Yesterday, a goods train derailed Daotuhaja-Phiding station of Lumding division. Owing to which a number of trains have been canceled on the route. According to a senior Railway Officials, 18 coaches went off the track. The official, however, asserted that the investigation is on and there is no clarity on what resulted in this Railway mishap.

A notice sent out by the rail authorities mentions, “Due to the derailment of UP Salchapara (SCA) fertilizer between Daotuhaja-Phiding station of Lumding division, the following trains have been cancelled short terminated as under”
