The fire in Panpatty spreads further to 2 RCC buildings
The fire in Panpatty spreads further. From one footwear store to a warehouse and now two RCC buildings. As many as 7 fire brigade engines are on the spot.
The firemen in Panpatty area are struggling to bring the flames under control as there is no pathway for the engines to reach the source of the fire.
Meanwhile, the nearby buildings have been evacuated by the CRPF officials on the spot. The electricity connection in the area has been disrupted.
Deputy commissioner of Cachar, Keerthi Jalli, additional SP Jagadish Das have arrived at the spot.
Nitya Gopal Saha, one of the owners of the store had locked for the day and then he got a call that his store is under fire.
Currently two RCC buildings are under fire.
