Tipper-Bullet collision in Barak Valley; Biker without helmet dies on spot

Yet another tragic road mishap in Barak Valley. Again it is a collision with a tipper and again the biker was without a helmet. The horrific accident took place in Karimganj district earlier today.

As per eyewitnesses, the bullet and the tipper met with a head-on collision near Puamara area on the National Highway, “The bullet got stuck under the front wheel of the Tipper. By the time we rushed to the spot, the biker was lying in the middle of the road, while the bullet got dragged about 10 metres ahead on the side of the road,” explained an eyewitness.

Local Police rushed to the spot and an ambulance drove the body to the nearest hospital for postmortem. The deceased is identified as Majidur Barbhuiya a resident of Gumrah area. The Royal Enfield Classic 330 he was riding is registered on the name of Sanda Singh. The tipper AS 10 C 5876 is registered on the name of Asab Uddin Tapadar.
