Tragic road accident in Mizoram leads to death of Dholai man, One seriously injured

Bablu Das, a 40-year-old resident of Aradhanpur under Sherarthal Gram Panchayat, South Dholai, died in a tragic road accident in Vairengte, Mizoram. It has been known that Bablu was an employee of CIJW School located in Vairangte, Mizoram. He used to commute to work from his home in Aradhanpur on a motorcycle every day. He left his home on Friday morning to go to work and took his colleague named Faiz Uddin Mazumdar on his bike from Lailapur. Faiz is a resident of North Hawaithang and a contractual worker in the water supply department of CIJW School.

Bablu’s motorcycle collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction after reaching Vairengte at around 7 am in the morning. In the tragic accident, Bablu died on the spot while Faiz Uddin Mazumdar was seriously injured.

The family members of both Bablu and Faiz reached the spot after hearing the news of the accident. Mizoram Police recovered Bablu’s body and sent it to hospital for postmortem. Faiz Uddin was rescued and shifted to Silchar Medical College and Hospital in a serious condition.
