15 year old boy used for smuggling Heroin, Caught at Lailapur by Police

Now young boys are being used by the mafia to smuggle drugs. An anti drug operation conducted by Cachar Police has raised alarms regarding the use of teenagers as drug smugglers.

For deceiving the Police, a youth of Dholai Baghabazar was used by drug mafias to transport contraband. As per reports, the 15 year old boy was entering Cachar district from Mizoram in a scooty without any number plate. He was intercepted by the Lailapur Police at the border and a through search was conducted.

During the search, 683 grams of Heroin was seized from 17 soap boxes kept in the scooty whose market price is estimated to be lakhs of rupees.

It is said the drug mafias used the boy for smuggling drugs by luring him with money.
