24th Foundation Day of All India Trinamool Congress celebrated through various programmes in Cachar
The 24th Foundation Day of All India Trinamool Congress was celebrated on 1st January, Sunday through various programmes all round the day on the initiative of Cachar District Trinamool Congress. Today, besides hoisting the party flag infront of the district party office, Cachar Trinamool Congress workers distributed winter garments among the old women of Meherpur orphanage. In every block and mondal of the district, party workers of TMC organised various programmes on the occassion of Trinamool’s foundation day. Addressing the media, Cachar District Trinamool Congress President Rajesh Deb told that Trinamool Congress has continued to fight against communal politics that has vitiated the social atmosphere and is going on in India today. He also expressed hope that the Trinamool Congress will manifest itself in a larger and stronger form in the entire Barak Valley including Cachar in the coming days.
Speaking to reporters Deb said, “Today is the 24th foundation day of All India Trinamool Congress. On this occasion workers of Trinamool Congress assembled and raised the party flag infront of our office. We will celebrate the day through various programmes. We will provide winter garments to old women living in Meherpur orphanage. I congratulate every worker of Cachar District Trinamool Congress on our foundation day and hope that Trinamool Congress will manifest itself in a larger and stronger form in the entire Barak Valley including Cachar district in the coming days. In the present time our fight is against communal forces as well as religious politics and our Didi Mamata Banerjee has showed how to fight with BJP valiantly.”
