38-year-old with mental health issues goes missing in Sonai Road: FIR filed

Sonai Road, Ashutosh Lane’s Sanchita Paul aka Moon has been missing from her home for the last three days. She was last seen by her next-door neighbour, going out of the back gate of their home in Sonai Road, early in the morning. When asked, she replied to the neighbour, that she was going somewhere nearby. Her neighbour knew she had a mental condition, so she rushed to Moon’s mother and told her about it. The Paul family came out to search for her immediately, but they couldn’t find her anywhere in the area. No one else had also seen her.

Sanchita Paul, nicknamed Moon, is approximately 38-39 years old and has a mental condition. According to her family members, she was always a little bit stubborn and was under medication. She would also not take her food or medicines on time. After her father passed away, a few months back, her condition worsened further. She became even more stubborn and disturbed.

After the last flood, there was the first episode of her disappearance. While her mother was cleaning the house, she went out unannounced. This led to a tense situation at their home and everyone started to panic searching for her, said a cousin of hers speaking to Barak Bulletin. She came within an hour but this made everyone in the family even more cautious.

She disappeared from her home early morning on August 19 and so far there’s no trace of her. The cousin said, “We have filed an FIR at the Rangirkhari police station, but three days have passed, but there’s no trace of her. Her health condition is also deteriorating as she has stones and can’t be operated on given her health conditions”. Her height is approximately 5 feet 1 inch and at the time of her disappearance she was wearing a night suit and so far they can’t find her anywhere.
