4-year-old burnt alive as a massive fire breaks at a residential society in Ambicapatty

Shocking news coming in from Ambicapatty Silchar. A massive fire broke at a residential building – Dinesh Enclave located in Narsing Road East – Ambicapatty, Silchar.

As per available information, the fire broke at a flat in the fourth floor of the building. As per sources, the parents left for work leaving 4-year-old Ratnadeep Nath (Raja) with a 20-year-old house help in the house. After the fire broke the househelp could not escape with the kid as the door got jammed.

The mother of 4-year-old Ratnadeep Nath, Sarbari Nath said that her son called her office and informed that there is a massive fire at home. She said, she immediately informed the Fire Brigade and herself rushed to the spot. By the time the Firemen reached the spot and brought the flames under control, it was too late. Ratnadeep Nath had already succumbed to the fire blazing and the house help was critical.

Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, Barnali Sharma reached the spot immediately to take stock of the situation.
